I'd much rather have Greg Golson on the postseason roster than So Taguchi.

As game time draws closer, the more nervous I get. These late September games are ulcers waiting to erupt.

I hear you GM. Every game I have a tin of skoal for the nerves and a bottom of tums close to my side.

Really hoping we pull out a win tonight so we have at least a two game playoff cushion on Friday, which will make a rainy last weekend less stressful.

I'm fairly certain that David Murphy is partially wrong. You can't replace Jenkins because he's come back healthy. Only players who continue to be on an injured list can be replaced.

Is anyone watching Daily News Live? This is brutal.

Three suspicious packages found at CBP per DNL--place was totally evacuated except for the players.

Police and bomb squad have the park roped off and are investigating.

What the F is going on?

PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― The Philadelphia Bomb Squad has responded to outside Citizens Bank Park for reports of several suspicious packages, forcing a partial evacuation of the stadium.

The area being affected is Pattison Street between Darien and 11th Streets near the 1st base entrance.

According to officials, three packages were found wrapped in duct tape near a ticket office.

Fans inside the stadium were evacuated as a precaution, but players remained on the field following the incident.

Bomb Squad officials as well Fire Department members are on the scene investigating the devices.

The Phillies play the Atlanta Braves at 7:05 p.m. and it is uncertain how the activity will impact traffic and fans heading to the game.

It'd be nice to rest Hamels Sunday. He's pretty spent.

Channel 6 is saying it looks like the packages turned out to be supplies left by a hot dog vendor. Thankfully, looking like a false alarm.

Guess maybe next time the hot dog vendor shouldn't completely wrap his packages in duct tape.

Question: let's say that the Phillies, after this little debacle tonight, manage to lose every game for the rest of the season and miss the playoffs completely. Will this bomb thingee be our curse, ala the black cat?

ms26: Well, if it had been a real bomb, I would say maybe--but it turned out to be hot dog supplies, so I don't think the players should even give it another thought.

The Curse of the Mustard Packets.

Oh great. If they go on to win tonight, someone should leave suspicious hot dog supplies around before every game. Good luck charm!

Lineups are in, and it's almost the same as it has been with Werth batting third, Feliz at third base hitting 7th, but this time Coste is behind the plate vs. the lefty.

McCann is in the lineup for the Braves, but Chipper sits again.

Cubs have DeRosa and Soto on the bench tonight vs. the Mets.
